If you wish, you can also get a taste of the “air of the gods” at an altitude of 2000 m in one of the mountain huts on Mount Olympus. Via the “ascetics in the rock forest”, the Meteora monasteries, you will explore the legendary world of Hades in Necropolis and the victorious Roman city of Nicopolis. Afterwards, you can have your fortune told by the legendary Pythia at Delphi. Via Olympia and Nafplion with the house of the first Greek King Otto (not the EM hero, that was Otto II) you will reach Mycenae and Epidaurus down to the south of the Peloponnese.
